Past Events

22nd International Conference on Metallurgy and Materials was held on 15th - 17th May 2013 traditionally in Brno. From 459 registered participants, 382 persons from the 26 countries attended the conference (256 participants from the Czech Republic, 48 from Poland, 29 from Slovakia, 14 from Romania, 6 from Algeria, 5 from Russian Federation, as well as the USA, Korea and Thailand). The participants presented 182 lectures and 167 posters. The conference was divided into six symposia and poster session:

On Thursday afternoon took place the accompanying program, which included the Pavilon Anthropos, Brno Observatory, Brno Technical Museum and cruise ship on the Brno dam. The participants of this accompanying program were greatly appreciated.

The first day was held in Restaurant Moravska chalupa Beer party with grilling piglets. The following evening took place at Voronez I. Social evening with wine tasting of South Moravia.

Supplementing the excellent technical support in the conference halls of symposia, food services, accommodation in the hotel or nearby, determines the location for year 2014 as the best.

In the poster session was more than 160 posters were also represented in proportion to the number of papers at various symposia.Conference organizer TANGER Ltd. based on the evaluation of chairmen of symposia announced five honorable mentions and another 3 prizes including practical gifts. Poster session of the conference also considers very successful.
