At the METAL 2017 conference Dr. Stefan Steinlechner will present the invited lecture in session E: Non-Ferrous Metals and Alloys.
Stefan Steinlechner studied at the University of Leoben, Austria and graduated in 2009 in the field of metallurgy (title of master’s thesis: Technical applicability and economic outlook on the treatment of complex secondary raw materials). From 2009 to 2011 he worked as research associate at the chair of Nonferrous Metallurgy. Since 2011 he has been project coordinator at the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Optimization and Biomass Utilization in Heavy Metal Recycling. Stefan Steinlechner finished his PhD. thesis with distinction in 2013 (title of dissertation: Amelioration and market strategies for zinc oxide with focus on secondary sources) In 2014 he became head of a so called Research-Studio-Austria focused on the area “energy and resource efficiency in metal recycling from industrial residues”.
